Bannon Indicted – Meadows May Be Next

Steve Bannon has been indicted for contempt of Congress as Mark Meadows and others in Trumps inner circle attempt to hide behind dubious claims of executive privilege.

It has been a busy legal week for Trump. The January 6 Commission has issued two new rounds of subpoenas targeting Trump’s inner circle, a federal appeals court has granted a temporary stay to block the release of Trump White House records, and top Trump advisor Steve Bannon was indicted by a federal grand jury for contempt of Congress on the same day Trump’s former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows ignores a Congressional subpoena.

Steve Bannon, a former advisor to former President Trump, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for two counts of contempt of Congress after he refused to testify before the January 6 select committee for their investigation into the Capitol riot.
